結頭份有一湧泉埤塘，水質清澈，(耆老口述)此埤塘因接近舊三山國王廟，故稱為國王溝;國王溝以閩南語發音，國王、國王溝念快時變成貢溝。昔日國王溝面積更大，為附近農地灌溉之水源，今部分淤塞，又因氣候暖化，水源枯竭，湧泉出水量已不如從前。
Jie Tou Fen has a lot of natural fountains. Guo Wang Gou is formed by the fountain and water is pure. Because of its pronunciations are familiar with San Shan Guo Wang temple, thus, locals call it Guo Wang Gou. Today, water`s area is smaller than before. In the past, Guo Wang Gou supplied great water to the farmland for irrigation. Due to the recent partial deposit and global warming, water resource is gradually depleting. Moreover, the quantity of natural fountain is less than before.
